Average pre-release business for Mega hero's next

Hyderabad, Mar 08: Supreme hero Sai Dharam Tej has been struggling to score a hit for last three years. This young actor's last hit was Anil Ravipudi's Supreme, which was released way back in 2016. Since then, Tej has scored about half a dozen flops in trot. Currently, he is working on his next Chitra Lahari and hoping to score a success with it.

Directed by Kishore Tirumala, Chitra Lahari is touted to be a sensible love story. Due to Tej's poor track record in the recent past, this film has been doing average pre-release business. The total theatrical rights of the movie were valued at Rs. 15 crores. Dil Raju will be distributing the film in the Nizam area.

In Andhra region, the rights of the movie were sold for about Rs. 6 crores. The makers are planning to release the movie on April 12th. Kalyani Priyadarshan and Nivetha Pethuraj are playing the female leads in this movie.
