TDP MLA Chinatamaneni casteist remarks goes Viral

Vijayawada, Feb 20: Here is the breaking news that, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Denduluru MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar has landed himself in a lot of trouble for his casteist remarks. A video of Chinatamaneni making controversial comments and hurling casteist slurs at Dalits went viral on several social media platforms.

In this viral video, MLA Chintamaneni is seen saying "you are Dalits…you belong to scheduled caste…why you need politics??" This video actually emerged online last month and was shared widely by angry netizens who made this video viral.

The entire incident took place when the TDP leader was participating in the Janmabhoomi Maa Vooru programme organized at Sriramavaram village in Denduluru Mandal in West Godavari district.

Since then, several Dalit leaders have expressed their outrage and demanded atrocity cases be filed against MLA Chintamaneni. Dalit leaders demanded TDP chief and AP CM Chandrababu take strict action against the MLA and suspend him from the party.

Meanwhile, opposition YSR Congress Party also met the villagers and angered Dalits, expressing their solidarity and support in their fight against the Telugu Desam party leader.
