Andhra Pradesh: Father & daughter to fight in Poll

Visakhapatnam, Feb 15: Senior most Congress leader Kishore Chandra Dev had quit the party recently and decided to contest from Araku Parliamentary constituency on behalf of TDP.

Giving a political twist, Kishore daughter Shruthi Devi is seriously planning to fight elections as Congress candidate from the same constituency.

Leaders said that she already approached the Congress high command and submitted an application requesting to allot party ticket to contest. Even though the Congress lost its base in Andhra, the fight between father and daughter will turn an interesting political battle in the poll-bound state.
