Bengaluru, Feb 15: At least 44 CRPF were killed in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir when a Pakistan-based terrorist Jaish-e-Mohammed, the suicide bomber rammed his explosive SUV into the Indian Army vehicle.
H Guru hailing from of Mandya district was stationed in Pulwama, J&K. In the heinous terrorist attack, he was one of the 40 jawans who lost their lives.
Son of Honnayya, a native of Gudigere village in Maddur taluk of Mandya district, Guru was one of the 2,500 jawans travelling in the convoy that was attacked by a suicide bomber.
Guru joined the paramilitary force 7-8 years ago and was deployed in Jharkhand before being posted in Kashmir.
