AP CM Naidu served with Non-Bailable Arrest Warrant

Vijayawada: In a shocking news, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, was served a non-bailable warrant on Babli Project issue by Dharmabad court in Maharashtra here on Thursday.

While coming to the details, CM Chandrababu Naidu has done dharna at Maharashtra's Babli project in the year 2010 alleging that it was being constructed against the norms and by claiming that it would squeeze water to Telangana. The non-bailable warrant is issued against CM Chandrababu Naidu, without giving any notices to him all these years.

Chandrababu Naidu was informed about the notices when he was in Tirupati Balaji temple offering clothes to the Lord on the first day of the 10-day Brahmotsavams and was offering special prayers at Tirumala yesterday.

The Dharmabad first class judicial magistrate court has ordered AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and 16 others to be present for a hearing before the bench on the 21st of September.

The court order has raised the anger of Chandrababu Naidu's supporter and they condemned the court for slapping the arrest warrant without any prior notice in these 8 years.

Apart from Chandrababu Naidu, the others who received the court notices are AP water resources minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao and Welfare Minister N Anandababu and Andhra, Telangana leaders.

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) sources says that Chandrababu Naidu was keen to attend before the court not only to declare his respect for the judiciary but also for political considerations.
