The film is made with cheap production values and low technical standards. Music, artwork, and other technical departments are of low standard.

Highlights:
Sunil's comedy

Drawback:
Frame to frame remake
Loud and old style
Inane prasa dialogues

Analysis: "Silly Fellows" is remake of a Tamil movie starring Vishnu Vishal and Soori. Allari Naresh has reprised Vishnu Vishal’s role while Sunil has stepped into Soori’s shoes. The film was also dubbed into Telugu but it didn’t run at the box-office.

Director Bhimaneni who is known for remakes has made frame to frame to remake of the original Tamil movie with loud comedy, garish setup and old-style prasa dialogues.

The entire first half is half-baked and bad though some comic moments here and there bring laughs. Post-interval it treads in a similar manner, but luckily there comes nearly 20-minutes comedy episode involving Jaya Prakash Reddy who regains memory after losing it for a while.
