Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday shared a breathtaking picture of Mansarovar lake during his Kailash Yatra and wrote a caption that apparently targets the BJP government – “There is no hatred here”.
“The waters of lake Mansarovar are so gentle, tranquil and calm. They give everything and lose nothing. Anyone can drink from them. There is no hatred here. This is why we worship these waters in India,” Gandhi wrote on Twitter along with the picture.
The Congress president, in a series of tweets, expressed his happiness over the visit and said that a man goes to Kailash when it calls him.
However, back home, things have not changed and Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Amit Malviya found something objectionable in this as well. The head of BJP’s IT cell expressed his outrage over a word in Gandhi’s tweet.

It is so humbling to be walking in the shadow of this giant. #KailashYatra pic.twitter.com/SGbP1YWb2q
