Super 30: Hritic Roshan Teachers Day Gift

Mumbai: On the Teacher's Day, posters for the upcoming biopic on Super 30 coaching institute founder and mathematician Anand Kumar has been released. The Hrithik Roshan-starrer film is scheduled to be released on January 25 next year.

Hrithik shared the first look from the film without captioning the image. But his intense expression, while Mathematics formulae and student slogans floated in the background, were enough to convey the subject of the film.

"It is a movie not just on me, but on the teachers in general, who shape nation's future in their own way wherever they are. On teachers' day, it is a tribute to all the teachers, as it is they who shape the nation’s destiny by preparing next generation with education," Anand Kumar told The Hindu after seeing the film posters.

The film is about how quality education is indispensable for ushering in real change in society through generational transformation and the pivotal role of a devoted teacher.

Mr. Anand Kumar, who had started his Super 30 coaching institute in the year 2002 in Patna for poor and underprivileged students aspiring to crack the entrance test of Indian Institute of Engineering (IIT) also said,"teaching has always been viewed as a revered profession and if the film could inspire today’s youth to take teaching as a profession to contribute to nation’s progress, it would be a great achievement."

As many as 422 students from Super 30 have cracked the IIT-JEE since its inception.
