Akhil Akkineni seals fantastic overseas deal

Tollywood Hero Akhil Akkineni teamed up with Tholi Prema director Venky Atluri for a breezy entertainer which is currently on floors.

Reportedly, the makers have registered Mr. Majnu as the film's title.

According to the latest updates, the overseas rights of Mr. Majnu have been snapped for 3 Crores by Sarigama Cinemas .

This is a decent price considering Akhil’s market in overseas. His debut film left no trace at box office, but his second film Hello, which couldn’t excite domestic audience, managed to wow overseas audience as the film ended with a million dollar gross there.

Venky Atluri's debut film Tholi Prema, with Varun Tej in the lead role, fared well in overseas and emerged as a profitable venture for buyers.

So, trade circles have decent expectations on Akhil’s film. This is one of reasons why the film is sold for a decent price in overseas.
