Hyderabad, Aug 27: Tollywood Young Star Hero Vijay Deverakonda's Geetha Govindam 'Geetha Govindam' succeeded in impressing the audience as well as keeping the money-spinners at the box office.

Vijay Devarakonda starrer opened to a positive response from the audience and critics alike. The film has been doing good business not only in India but also in the international markets.

In just five days, the film has earned Rs 55 crore approx worldwide, which is amazing. Also starring Rashmika Mandanna, Geetha Govindam, which released on August 15, is witnessing an extraordinary collection at the worldwide box office. The much-talked about the film has finally entered Rs 100 crore club.

By the end of its second weekend, the film has entered the coveted 100 crore club, which is impressive. Geetha Govindam has grossed a whopping Rs 102 crores approx worldwide. With this, Vijay Deverakonda becomes the seventh popular actor of the Telugu industry to have a 100 crore film. With no big film releasing this Friday, Geetha Govindam gets a golden opportunity to continue its trend for a week and more.

Geetha Govindam now stands at the 19th spot in the list of all-time highest grossing Telugu movies. The movie had crossed Rs 60 crore mark in its sixth-day run itself. The is wooing moviegoers even in the USA.

Geetha Govindam has been made on a budget of Rs 5 crore and its theatrical rights were sold for a whopping price of Rs 15 crore. The film is a complete blockbuster.

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna starrer is directed by Parasuram. The story of the film is all about love and courtship. Producer Bunny Vass is bankrolling the project under GA2 Pictures Banner with Allu Aravind presenting it.
