Hyderabad: Man brutally kills his daughter

Hyderabad, Aug 23: In a suspected case of honor killing, a father slit his daughter's throat with a knife for marrying a man whom she loved in the outskirts of the city on Thursday.

The information reported that The deceased Jayamma and her husband Suresh who were neighbors have left the locality and got married five years ago. The couple has a two-year-old son.

The couple returned to Abdullahpur to attend the ceremony of Suresh's mother who had passed away recently.

On coming to know that his daughter had returned her father Narasimha became furious and in a fit of anger slit her throat causing Jayamma's instantaneous death.

The cruel incident created a sensation in the locality.

Police arrived at the scene of the crime, arrested Narasimha and took up the investigation.
