Hyderabad, Aug 23: Yet in another move, the Home Minister Naini Narasimha Reddy flagged off at least 16 mini lorries laden with 200-rice bags, utensils, clothes, medicines etc to the Kerala flood victims here at a Secretariat today.
The department of cultural affairs and the department of tourism have together in association with the Telugu Regional Malayalee Association have collected the material from the general public at Ravindra Bharati on August 19.
Speaking on the occasion, Home Minister recollected how the people in rescue homes are living in there. "Situation is grim and pathetic", he said.
