New Delhi, Aug 22: India Today has come up with its Best CM survey for the year 2018. In this regard, West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool leader Mamata Banerjee have pipped to become the nations No. 1 chief minister.

Earlier, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar switched sides from the UPA to NDA in July 2017, then Mamata pipped him to become best CM as per the survey result.

The feisty Mamata, who offers fierce resistance to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's might, has won the best performing CM thrice in a row, including in August 2018.

While Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal stood second with 10 percent, UP CM Yogi Aditynath secured third rank with 9 percent.

AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has settled with Fourth Rank with 7 Percent, Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Chattisgarh CM Raman Singh shared 5th place with 5 percent.

Osisha CM Naveen Patnaik has shared the sixth place with Telangana CM KCR with 4 percent in favour of them. Karnataka CM Kumaraswamy and Assam's Sarbananda Sonowal have taken the next place (7th) with mere 3 percent. Goa CM Manohar Parikkar, Punjab CM Amarinder Singh, Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani and Haryana's Manohar Lal Khattar together stood in 8th place with 2 percent.
