Hyderabad, Aug 22: India Today's annual mood of the Nation poll ranks has been released recently, in this regard Baahubali actor Prabhas has been adjudged as the country's 5th Most Popular star.

In an annual poll 'Mood Of The Nation' conducted by India Today every year, Prabhas stood at No.5. Last year, Prabhas was voted at 7th place. He has rung up the ladder by 2 slots and is now at 5th position in the Male Superstar category.

While Bollywood Super Star Salman Khan has aced the list with 11 percent votes in favour of him, Akshay Kumar stood at No.2. Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor shared the third rank and Big B Amitabh Bachchan secured 4th position.

Prabhas has marched into the Top 5 league and settled at the 5th Position. Prabhas happens to be the first Telugu star to achieve this rare feat.

Coming to films, Baahubali 2 stood in the first place with 26 per cent votes, Bollywood evergreen film Sholay stood at second place Baahubali-1 in third place and Dangal occupied 4th position

Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra and Anushka Sharma shared the top slot among the most most popular female superstar category.
