Woman Attempts suicide over Violent Sex with Husband

Bangalore, Aug 21: Bangalore teacher has filed a complaint against her husband over the violent sex.

According to the details, Unable to bear her husband's violent sexual behavior and repeated marital rape, a 25-year-old school teacher attempted suicide by cutting her wrist. She also consumed sleeping pills.

The Sources further said that The victim started vomiting, which her sister noticed. She alerted the rest of the family and shifted the victim to a hospital, where she is now undergoing treatment as an inpatient. As it was a medico-legal case, the hospital informed the matter to the police.

The victim has given her statements to the police in presence of the doctors. She registered a complaint with Vyalikaval police.

Due to her husband's violent behaviour, the victim had left him a year ago and was staying at parents' house. The accused is suspected to have gone to his in-laws house and forced himself on her. The police have registered a case of IPC 376B (sexual intercourse by husband with his wife during separation) along with other sections of IPC. The victim works as a teacher in a private school. The couple have a six-year-old daughter.
