Hyderabad, Aug 20: Tollywood Gorgeous actress Samantha Akkineni next film will be a remake of the Korean movie, Miss Granny.

We have already reported this news that Samantha will be seen playing the role of 70 years old lady in her next project, which will be helmed by Nandini Reddy.

Now according to the latest update, Suresh Babu is going to coproduce Samantha starrer Telugu remake of the acclaimed Korean drama, Miss Granny, in association with Sunitha Tati of Guru Films. The official announcement will be made regarding this news very soon.

The source say, "Since the Korean drama Miss Granny was already remade in several languages, the filmmakers approached Nandini Reddy and asked her to direct the Telugu remake. Nandini Reddy agreed to direct it."

Miss Granny is all about the story of a woman in her 70's who magically finds herself in the body of her 20-year-old self after having her picture taken at a mysterious photo studio.

Samantha Akkineni is very excited to become the part of this upcoming Telugu remake of Miss Granny. Rangasthalam and Mahanati star Samantha feel that the movie will show her in a new light."

On the other side, Suresh Babu is currently waiting for the release of Ravi Babu's directional venture Adhugo in which a piglet named Bunty is playing the central role. Adhugo is scheduled to hit the theaters on the occasion of Dussehra.

Meanwhile, Samantha Akkineni is waiting for the arrival of her upcoming bilingual Telugu and Tamil movie U-Turn, the remake of Kannada hit movie of the same title. Samantha is reprising the role of Shraddha Srinath and will make her screen presence as a journalist. U-Turn is directed by Pawan Kumar and slated to hit the theaters on 13th September.
