Hyderabad, Aug 13: On his maiden visit to Telangana, Congress president Rahul Gandhi has been fired on Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Shekhar Rao here on today ahead of 2019 elections.

In this regard, Congress President launched severe criticism against Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and said it was time to end the dynastic rule in the state.



Coming to the details, Rahul Gandhi held an interactive meeting with DWCRA women at Classic Convention Centre in Rajendranagar and answered several questions.

Rahul said that GST stands for Gabbar Singh Tax. He said when Congress was in power and tried to introduce much simpler GST, Narendra Modi, who was the Chief Minister of Gujarat put obstacles. Congress believes that without women's development, there was no development. But unfortunately, both PM Modi and CM KCR have conveniently forgotten this fact, he said.

Rahul further assured all that after Congress came to power, women's self-help groups would be put on the highest pedestal.

He accused the TRS government of grabbing lands from the farmers and said the government was completely corrupt. Both Modi and KCR government have not bothered to fulfill the promises made.

He said let alone two crore jobs yearly, there was a lack of health and education facilities in the country under Modi government.

Rahul said that Congress would form the government in Telangana and it would the government of women's self-help groups. He announced if their party wins Telangana assembly elections interests on loans taken by women would be waived.

He also commented on Media and said that In this country there is no safety for Media persons, if they wrote what's true then they got severe criticism from the other people, he asserted media persons that don't hesitate to write the truth.


He also lamented that KCR has asserted to Dalits that TRS govt will give 3 acres land and 22 lakhs people for 2 BHK rooms, but he is not even constructed 5000 BHKS rooms till now. In four years 4000 farmers died in Telangana.
