Heavy Rains likely to hit Telangana

Hyderabad, Aug 08: In the latest weather update, The Indian Meteorological Department issued a warning in a bulletin in Hyderabad on Wednesday stating that heavy rain is likely to occur in Telangana during the next 24 hours.

Adilabad, Bhadradri Kottagudem, Jashankar Bhupalapally, Jagitial, Karimnagar, Khammam, Kamareddy, Manchiryal, Komaram Bheem, Mahabubabad, Nizamabad, Nirmal, Peddapalli, Rajanna Sircilla and Warangal districts are likely to witness heavy rains during the next 24 hours.

According to the bulletin, light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at isolated places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, and Telangana during the next five days.

As per the bulletin issued by the IMD, a thunderstorm accompanied with gusty winds is expected at isolated places in all the districts of Rayalaseema during the next 48 hours.

Southwest Monsoon has been normal in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, and Telangana.

Rain occurred at many places in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and at a few places in Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours, the bulletin added.
