Rahul Gandhi shocking comments on BJP MLAs

New Delhi, Aug 07: All India Congress Committee president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on the BJP-led Centre over the Muzaffarpur and Deoria shelter home cases and questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi's silence over these incidents.

Rahul also trained gun at the RSS' ideology and said that Sangh does not want women to come forward.

"The ideology of BJP and RSS is that only the men will run this country and if it is anywhere that the women belong, it is at the back," he said at Mahila Adhikar Sammelan in the national capital.

Referring to the case pertaining to the rape of over 30 women at a shelter home in Bihar's Muzaffarpur and Deoria 'missing girls' issue, Rahul asked, "The Prime Minister doesn't say anything on the incidents of rape. What happened against women in these four years is something which did not happen even in last 70 years," he added.

Rahul further mocked Prime Minister Modi's pet 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' slogan and asked, "Whom should the daughters be saved from? They talk a lot but Women's Reservation Bill is long pending. Congress told them clearly that the entire party will stand by them the day they decide to pass it. But the Prime Minister doesn't say anything," the Congress president said.

In a veiled reference to Unnao rape case in which BJP MLA Kuldeep Sengar is an accused, Rahul said, "The daughters need to be saved from BJP MLAs."
