India's first Spa for Babies in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Aug 05: Laura Sevenus, founder of 'Baby Spa' has launched the spa in Hyderabad on Friday. The services provided in this spa will be meant for infants.

According to the sources, Baby Spa will offer services including hydrotherapy sessions, baby massage etc. It may be mentioned that Laura Sevenus had started this service for the first time in South Africa in 2005.



This spa also uses ‘bubby’ which allows babies to move freely in the water. Giving the details of the spa, Swathi Kolla, CEO of Baby Spa, Hyderabad said that they are happy with the response.

The baby spa is meant for newborns, up to the age of nine months, who can float naturally, just like they did in the mother's womb. The aim is to keep them floating. We don't want the babies to stand up, while in the pool," swathi added.

Explaining the facilities on offer, where baby Anaira is all dressed up and ready for her first day at the spa. The four-month-old is given a swim nappy, swimsuit and a patented floatation device, which is put around the neck to ensure it supports the baby's head, and keep it above water at all times.

Obstetricians and Gynecologist, Dr Pranathi Reddy and MD of Margadarsi, Sailaja Kiran have visited the inauguration of 'Baby Spa' at Banjara Hills Road number 2.
