Hyderabad: President receives warm welcome by Governor

Hyderabad, Aug 05: President Ram Nath Kovind has arrived here on Saturday evening on a two-day visit to the city.

On his arrival at the Begumpet airport by a special IAF Aircraft, Mr Kovind was accorded a warm welcome by a large number of dignitaries.

Governor E.S.L.Narasimhan, Telangana Deputy Chief Ministers Kadiyam Srihari and Mohammad Mahmood Ali, Ministers, Legislators and top bureaucrats were among those who received the President.

Mr Kovind drove from the Airport to the Raj Bhavan where he will stay during his visit to the city.

The President will deliver the Convocation address at the IIT Hyderabad at Khandhi in Rangareddy District on Sunday.

After the convocation, he will fly to Chennai where Mr Kovind will meet DMK President M Karunanidhi at Kauvery Hospital.
