A total of 88 cases were booked against cinema halls and theatres in greater Hyderabad and HMDA zone.

Big cinema halls like PVR, INOX, Big Cinema, Cinepolis, and IMAX continued to have cases booked against them for failing to follow regulations set forth by the department. Meanwhile, PVR LTD is already challenging their cases and Justice Ms. Ramachandra Rao is set to give a judgment of the same on August 7.
