Rana Daggubati, Krish, Balayya meets AP CM

Vijayawada, Aug 04: Tollywood Ballaladeva Rana Daggubati will play the role of N Chandrababu Naidu in much awaited NTR's biopic which is being directed by celebrated director Krish.

Hindupur TDP MLA and actor N Balakrishna is playing the lead role of senior NTR in the movie. For quite some time now, Rana has been practicing Chandrababu Naidu's mannerism.

Rana Daggubati met Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at his residence along with Mr. Balakrishna and Krish, who is directing the film.

Speculation in the film industry is that Mr. Rana will be seen in the film as Mr. Naidu, who is NTR’s son-in-law. They, it is learned, have discussed the biopic with the Chief Minister. Vidya Balan has been roped in to play NTR’s wife Basavatharakam.

Mr. Naidu told them that the government would come out with a policy on the film industry soon. It would also take steps to set up a Film and TV Institute with highest standards.

Andhra Pradesh was the best place and conducive for the growth of cine industry. The State government would extend all possible help.
