Hyderabad, Aug 03: Tollywood Director Maruti Dasari, who is known for his youth-centric entertaining movies, has written the story for Brand Babu, which is released today.

Brand Babu starring Sumanth Shailendra, Esha Reba and Murali Sharma, helmed by Prabhakar, has hit the theaters today. Let's see the storyline.

The story of Brand Babu: Diamond Babu(Sumanth Shailendra), who is the only son of a rich businessman(Murali Sharma) is obsessed with luxury brands. He decides to find a partner who has a similar mentality. In that process, he falls in love with the home minister's daughter(Poojitha Ponnada).

During the same time, a maid(Eesha Rebba) in the home minister's house thinks that Babu is in love with her and starts living in her own imaginary world. After a key twist in the tale, Babu realizes that he is actually in love with the maid. Will he be able to get over his obsession with brands and confess his true love? Performance: One of the major assets of Brand Babu is the presence and performance of Murali Sharma. He essays the role with perfection. Murali Sharma and Sumanth Shailendra's hilarious performances along with Eesha Rebba's glamour are the highlights of the movie Brand Babu. Murali Sharma gave a variety of gestures on his face.

Sumanth Shailendra who made his debut with this film, has delivered his fantastic performance. Eesha Rebba performs well as a middle-class girl. Raja Ravindra played well in the role of heroine’s father. Poojitha, Rajaravendra, Satyam Rajesh and others play their part well.

Technical: The storyline of Brand Babu is interesting. JB gives one of his best background music for this movie. It elevates key scenes. Editing by S B Uddav is perfect. Maruthi provides a good script and Prabhakar executes the movie well. Art direction is natural. Production values are good. And the richness in this film comes with the vision of the director.

Analysis: Brand Babu is an out and out comedy and family entertainment movie. They makers of Brand Babu try to show that goods are branded, but people and their love are not branded. Overall Brand Babu is a good social message oriented movie.
