Hyderabad, Aug 03: Kollywood Versatile Hero Kamal Haasan's upcoming film 'Vishwaroopam 2' has been a talk of the town since a very long time.
The makers of the film have geared up for the promotions and amid everything, the film has landed into trouble. Pyramid Saimira Productions International has filed a suit against Haasan for recovery of Rs 5.44 crore. Justice C V Karthikeyan issued a notice to the actor.
According to the latest report, the Madras High Court today ordered actor Kamal Haasan and his production house Rajkamal Films International to file a reply by Monday over the stall of the film's release.
The production company has filed the plea saying the money was paid to Haasan's production house for producing a film titled Marmayogi in Tamil and Hindi.
They had reportedly signed a memorandum of understanding with Rajkamal Films on April 2, 2008, for the production of Marmayogi on a budget of Rs 100 crore.
