Minister controversial comments on Reservations

Vijayawada, Aug 01: Andhra Pradesh Minister made controversial comments on reservation system here on today. Minister Ayana Pathrudu has sarcastically made comments on SC, St castes.

He said that He down the reservations system and said that Being sarpanch (SC or ST), the upper hand on political leader only, his marks came ahead of Gram Panchayati sarpanch's elections.

He spoke at the Visakhapatnam on Wednesday with sarpanches. Reservation in Panchayat is normal. The locals were surprised at what was happening at the minister's level.

This is not the first time that TDP has made comments on SC/ST reservations, earlier Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu also commented that "Who wants to be born in SC or ST?"

With the end of the tenure of gram panchayats, the AP government has issued orders to appoint special officers.
