U-turns on Kapu reservations

Amaravati, Aug 01: It is all known that now, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nara Chandrababu Naidu had promised to give reservation to the Kapus in 2014.

But, after becoming the CM, he did not pass a settlement but appointed a Commission to look into the usefulness of providing reservation to them.



He had to go through this unified falsehood as he knew full well that the Constitution did not permit reservation quota to exceed beyond 50%.

Mudragada then accused Chandrababu of cheating the Kapus and undertook several 'DEEKSHAS' at his residence in Kirlampudi withal Chandrababu curbed them all using the police power.

The Kapu leader then cried in front of the media saying that he and his family were assaulted and abused in obscene language by the police staff. He ended up scolding Chandrababu for a complete U-turn.

Now, Mudragada says that Chandrababu is the better choice for getting reservations to Kapus and that Jagan has made a U-turn by saying reservations were not achievable.

"Basic facts are that it is Mudragada who has made a U-turn and is making people unwell with his Kapu agitation reiterating always," claims political analysts.

"It has been his only integrity and this Kapu reservation thing has been defending him for decades now," feels people.

And that is not all. If the topic of provoking reservations for Kapu community is going on extended election-by-election, when will the issue gets the stop, which means solved possibly, questions public.
