Niharika Konidela about 'Casting Couch'

Hyderabad, July 31: Tollywood actress Niharika Konidela, the Mega Princess, daughter of Naga Babu, has opened up about casting Couch. Recently during the media interaction, Niharika Konidela shared her point of View on the sexual harassment issue in the film Industry.

When Niharika Konidela was asked about Casting Couch, the actress said, "The casting couch is just not confined only to film industry but also in several sectors." She added that she has heard many stories of casting couch outside the film Industry."



She further said that casting couch could not happen without the consent of an individual as without consent it would be called a rape.

The number of Bollywood and Tollywood actresses like Priyanka Chopra, Samantha Akkineni, Amala Paul, Rakul Preet Singh, Kalki Koechlin, Radhika Apte, Tisca Chopra, Swara Bhasker, and others have shared their views regarding Casting Couch.

Niharika Konidela made her Telugu debut with Oka Manasu starring Naga Shourya, which was bombed at the box office. This year she made her Tamil debut with 'Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren', unfortunately, it was also turned out commercially flop at the box office.

Recently she came up with another romantic and family entertainer movie Happy Wedding, in which she was paired opposite Sumanth Ashwin. On its opening day, the movie received negative reviews and finally turning out disaster at the box office. Finally, Niharika Konidela scored a hat trick flop.
