Schemes on your names & money from Taxpayers

Amaravati, July 31: Social activists Sandeep Pandey and Ramakrishnam Raju have expressed surprise at over 30 schemes in Andhra Pradesh being named after persons belonging to one family.

"Naming policies and welfare schemes and giving announcements in the name of NTR, Anna and Chandranna, is in violation of Supreme Court guidelines.

Even the central government names welfare schemes starting with PM and do not use the name of Modi.

NTR Pension Scheme, 'NTR Sujala Sravanthi', 'NTR Jalasiri', 'NTR Vidyonnati', 'NTR Vaidya Seva', 'NTR Vaidya Pareeksha', 'NTR Aasayam', 'NTR Videsi Vidyadarana', 'NTR Gruha Nirmanam' etc are the schemes in NTR's name.

Similarly, schemes such as 'Anna Amrutahastam', 'Anna Canteen', 'Anna Sanjeevini', 'Anna Abhaya Hastam', 'Anna Devena' etc are designed to recall NTR's image to the people.

And Chandrababu has 'Chandranna Baata', 'Chandranna Bhima', 'Chandranna Videsi Vidya Devena' etc named after him.

Spending taxpayers money to promote oneself is wrong and against regulations. The words Anna, NTR and Chandranna should be immediately removed from all these schemes," said the activists.
