Hyderabad, July 31: Pop singer Drake's infectious song "In my feelings" from the album Scorpion released last month and still continues to find a place on the chartbusters.
The song has, however, prompted a bizarre viral social media challenge—"Kiki Challenge" or the "In my feelings challenge" in which people step out of their car and dance alongside the moving vehicle — yes, you heard it right!
The fever has now gripped India, too, with several social media users filming themselves doing the dance and sharing the same on their pages with hashtags like #Kikichallenge and #inmyfeelingschallenge. And celebrities couldn't stay away from it either!
Actor Regina Cassandra on Sunday took up the challenge and showed off her dance moves by giving it an Indian twist. The actor danced to the song, dressed in a half-saree, during a shooting break.
Regina quickly earned praises from acclaimed choreographer Brinda master, director of Awe, Prashanth Varma, and her colleague Allu Sirish, for pulling off the challenge with grace.
The internet is flooded with videos of the Kiki challenge. While some of the videos are fun to watch, there are numerous videos of the challenge going wrong, with people tumbling down while getting out of the car, running into poles and tripping while dancing.
In the West, the police has warned the public against doing the challenge after witnessing several people getting injured in freak accidents.
