Hyderabad, July 27: As we know that, Superstar Rajinikanth and director Shankar combination 'Robo' film became a blockbuster hit, which was released in 2010.

Now, The Robo movie sequel 2.O is coming soon under the direction of Shankar, which has created high expectations after Baahubali.

2.O's Oscar-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty has shared two photos depicts Robo technicians, who are working for both Robot1 and Robot 2 films.

He also tweeted that, "Eight Years apart the first photo is during #Robot1 and second is today on #Robot2 - @2.O after our presentation of the first draft of Sound Design to @DirectorShankar. An excited team, happy faces with an air of creating something unorthodox!"

As per the reports, the 2.O teaser will be released on August 15th, as an Independence Day treat.

More than 400 crores are being spent in the making of 2.O. Bollywood star Akshay Kumar, British actress Amy Jackson and several other popular actors are part of 2.O. Lyca Productions banner has produced the movie and AR Rahman has scored the film’s music. The film will be released on November 29.
