Deepika Padukone wax statue at Madame Tussauds

Mumbai, July 23: Bollywood Hot Actress Deepika Padukone will soon get a wax statue at the Madame Tussauds museums in London and New Delhi, the actor said in a Facebook live video from the British capital.

Deepika follows in the footsteps of Bollywood stars such as Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif to be immortalized in wax at the popular museum.

She just went live on Facebook to break the big news, all the way from London as she said, "It’s fun, exciting and in a way, I feel a lot of gratitude because you know when you give your fans a little more than just the movies, then it's really really special. I hope they enjoy it as much as we enjoy creating it."

"I am so delighted. The sitting with the team of experts was a special experience and I look forward to the incredible figure at the attraction," the actor said in a statement.

The first figure will launch in London in early 2019, while the Delhi figure will follow a few months later.
