Saina Nehwal accepts Nizamabad MP Kavitha's Challenge

Hyderabad, July 22: Nizamabad TRS MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Saturday planted 3 saplings in front of her residence in Hyderabad as part of a "green challenge".

Taking to Twitter to share a picture of one of the saplings, Kavitha said that she was extending the same challenge to Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali, Andhra Jyothi MD Vemuri Radha Krishna, badminton star Saina Nehwal and director Rajamouli.

In this regard, Badminton saina nehwal accepted the challnged and she too to twitter and share a picture of one of the saplings, she said that, "Thank you ma’am @RaoKavitha .. for nominating me. Let's all together make our world greener and clean. Here’s my contribution and I further nominate @taapsee ,@ShraddhaKapoor and @eshagupta2811 to take up the green challenge. #HarithaHaram"

The challenge was started by Igniting Minds, an organization dedicated to follow former President APJ Abdul Kalam's footsteps.

The members of the organization had challenged Priyanka Varghese, who planted three saplings in Medchal and tagged K Kavitha, Secretary to the Chief Minister Smita Sabharwal, and Medchal District Collector MV Reddy to join the cause.
