Highlights: Amit Shah - Ramoji Rao meet

Hyderabad, July 15: It has led to several deliberations in the media when Bharatiya Janata Party national president Amit Shah's visit to Ramoji Film City to call on media baron Ramoji Rao on Friday night.

After all, Shah is said to have met Ramoji as part of his Sampark for Samarthan (meeting to seek support to the BJP), it is believed that Shah could have discussed the present political situation in both the Telugu states.

Exclusively, the intrusive stand taken by Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu against the BJP in his state is enrolled to have come up for discussion between Ramoji and Shah.



According to the information available from sources, Shah asked Ramoji's help to strap in Naidu as the BJP requires a strong party like the TDP after the next elections. Since Naidu treats Ramoji as his godfather, he would definitely listen to the Ramoji's advice.

There is a strong belief that it was only because of Ramoji's suggestion that Naidu had continued support to the NDA between 1999-2004.

It is reportedly informed that Ramoji told Shah that Naidu had stopped probing his advice long back, though he still respected him (Ramoji).

Nonetheless, he felt that Naidu would never enhance support to the Congress party and therefore, the NDA could count on his support in the post-poll rundown.

Finally, he asked Amit Shah to maintain a kind of give-and-take approach with Naidu.
