Actress appointed as BJP state Secretary - Watch

Hyderabad, July 14: Reshma Rathore who is a model-turned-actress basically appears in South Indian films. Her film career started with Bodyguard Telugu Movie in which she played Trisha's friend.

Thereafter she made her debut with the film 'Ee Rojullo' directed by Maruthi Dasari which was screened for 175 days in theatres.

She was awarded 'best confident Face of The Year 2012' for 'Ee Rojullo' and also she was nominated for 2nd 'South Indian International Movie Awards' for 'best female debutant' for the same.

The actress Reshma Rathore, who hails from Yellandu of Kothagudem and who joined BJP sometimes back has been appointed as Telangana state Secretary.



On an interaction at a Press Meet, Reshma Rathore said she is happy to take the leadership of a state Secretary and added that 'Yuva Morcha' is a key section in BJP.

The 27-years-old actress has expressed confidence that she will do justice to the post that was assigned to her.

As a part of the event, she reminded the innovative schemes introduced by Narendra Modi and also praised the Central Government's work especially to help the women.

She also said that she is feeling ashamed for being neglected by the constituent leaders of Mahabubabad to which she belongs to.

And mentioned her concern to contest in 2019 elections as parliament member from Mahabubabad constituency. Finally, the actress-turned-politician said she will strengthen the party as well as the Yuva Morcha.
