Hyderabad: Metro Rail weekend timings

Hyderabad, July 13: Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) led L&T Metro has announced the changes in the Hyderabad Metro Train timings on the Red and Blue lines, with effect from Monday.

Accordingly, on weekdays and Saturdays, the services will begin at 6.30 am instead of 6 am. On Sunday, the services will start at 7 am instead of 6 am. However, the last train schedule from various stations remains unchanged, according to an L&TMRHL release.

L&TMRHL also said the change in timing was temporary and was for facilitating trial runs and integrating Ameerpet – LB Nagar and Ameerpet – Hitec City sections.

With regard to progress on the ongoing 72-km long elevated Hyderabad Metro Rail Project, HMRL MD NVS Reddy said in August, services will be launched on Ameerpet to LB Nagar (16 km) stretch followed by Ameerpet and Hitec City (10 km) in October.
