Promising actor for NTR Biopic

Hyderabad, July 09: Tollywood much awaited NTR biopic will have Nandamuri Balakrishna playing the titular role, his father N.T.Rama Rao, while Bollywood actor Vidya Balan would be seen playing his wife Basavatarakam. The shooting of the film began couple of days ago in Hyderabad and Balakrishna shot for few scenes from NTR's first of films, Manadesam.

Seasoned actor Murali Sharma has been signed on to play a key role in NTR biopic starring Nandamuri Balakrishna which is being directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. Murali Sharma would be seen playing Aluri Chakrapani who was a prominent and multilingual writer, producer and director in early 1900s.

Murali Sharma took to Twitter today and posted a picture with director Krish and wrote -"#NTR Biopic. Day one..with the very sagacious n my dearest @DirKrish ..Thank you for having me on board as Aluri Chakrapani..so chuffed and thrilled.."

Rana Daggubati will be seen playing NTR's son in law and current chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, in the biopic which is an exciting news for the fans of the Nandamuri family.

While Rana Daggubati and the makers are yet to confirm this development, sources in the film circles reveal that the discussions have been completed and Rana Daggubati will soon sign the dotted line.

Bengali actor Jisshu Sengupta has been signed on to play legendary L.V.Prasad in the biopic and this will be the actor's debut in the South film industry.

And latest buzz is that actor Rajasekhar to has been signed on to play a key role in NTR biopic. However, it is not yet clear as to which role he would be seen playing in the film.

The biopic will feature Balakrishna himself in the titular role and will portray the life of NTR from the time he made an entry in films till he became the Chief Minister of then Andhra Pradesh, reports reveal.

The biopic will be made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi since NTR was a popular figure across India in films and political circles.
