How can she get pregnant after "Family Planning"?

Uttar Pradesh, Jul 05: In a shocking news, A woman has become pregnant despite having undergone a family planning operation.

Sudha, 29, a resident of Chamroli, the village of Uttar Pradesh, had undergone surgery during a family planning camp at a primary health care center. However, she got conceived after 6 months of surgery.

She already has two children and gave birth to another girl child. Her husband Basanth was shocked and approached the doctors.They quoted that, there is chance of 2% failure of family planning operation.

According to locals, the woman started showing symptoms of pregnancy but she was confident that she wouldn't bear a child after the surgery. However, after some time, she realised that she was pregnant. But, she didn't know what to do next.

As per the health department norms, a compensation of Rs 30,000 is given to the victim in the case of a failed sterilization surgery. Chief medical and health officer (CMHO) Mukhesh Kumar said:

"We have forwarded her complaint to the director medical and health and family welfare department at Jaipur for compensation."
