Mega brother Naga Babu attacks Kathi Mahesh - Watch

Hyderabad, July 05: After making sensational comments against actor-turned-Politician Pawan Kalyan the film critic Kathi Mahesh came into the limelight of which he called it "Freedom of Expression".

And after a long gap, he who appeared in a debate had opened-up his opinion (which had hurt the Hindu sentiments) on Ramayana - the ancient epic of Indian Culture.

His remarks on Hindu God Lord Rama has emerged a huge uproar among the devotees and followers of the God. In this regard, actor and Mega brother Naga Babu who vented out his anger against the controversial critic.

Initiating a protuberance attack on Katti Mahesh without mentioning his name the Mega brother also slammed media channels for supporting and encouraging such types of debates on religions.

In a video message, he called the controversial critic as 'Neechudu' and said he is not an activist of BJP or a worker of VHP or RSS but added that Ramayana is not a novel or a book but is an epic like Khuran for Muslims and Bible for Christians.

The 56-years-old actor said he has an emotional connection with Lord Rama and Sita so he can't tolerate such harsh comments against Lord Rama.

Extending his full support to Swami Paripoornananda the actor said that they have already reported that Swami Paripoornananda demanded that the State government issue an arrest warrant against Kathi Mahesh and take him into custody for hurting the sentiments of the Hindus.

The actor cautioned Chandrababu and KCR that it would be a grave, historic mistake if they don't address it properly.

Naga Babu's video is being widely shared as he happens to be the first film personality to comment on Kathi's belittling comments on Lord Rama, Goddess Sita and Ravana.

Meanwhile, Hindu organizations lodged a complaint against Katti Mahesh and cops even arrested him. While many celebrities remained silent on the entire issue.
