Priyanka Chopra gets Muncipal notices

Mumbai, Jul 03: Bollywood hot actress Priyanka Chopra has been served a notice by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for unauthorized construction at her office at Oshiwara and the adjoining space she has rented out to a salon.

The BMC has sent notice to actor Priyanka Chopra, owner of a commercial premise at Oshiwara in Andheri (West), for unauthorized construction in the space that she has rented out and her adjoining office.

According to reports, BMC officials said they had received complaints from a municipal corporator and people who visited the salon. The complainants allege illegal alterations in the salon, including construction of an unauthorised mezzanine floor.

The notice issued said that the illegal alterations be removed and the original structure be restored, or BMC will demolish the structure after a month. Priyanka Chopra has the option of regularising some of the irregularities after paying a penalty.
