Hyderabad, July 03: After making sensational comments against actor-turned-Politician Pawan Kalyan the film critic Kathi Mahesh came into the limelight of which he called it "Freedom of Expression".

Mahesh Kathi - The man who was not so popular until then, criticised Pawan Kalyan which are even meant as tricks to become popular.

Following the huge controversy from the fans, Kathi had however disclosed the story and its all over. Unexpectedly, the fame gave him the reality TV show 'BIGG BOSS' entry of which the critic was evicted on Day 27.

After Tollywood 'Casting Couch' debates on Television News Channels, the 41-years-old actor is no where seen and literally far from controversies.

And after a long gap, he who appeared in a debate had opened-up his opinion (which had hurt the Hindu sentiments) on Ramayana - the ancient epic of Indian Culture.

# Kathi Statement:

"For me, Ramayana is just a book and Sri Rama is a character. He might be a great person but I believe he is a fool. I wish Sita lived with Ravana and maybe that would have brought her justice," said Mahesh Kathi in the debate. Irked by this, Hindu Janasakthi leaders filed a case against Mahesh.

~ For making such derogatory statements and offensive comments against Lord Rama and Sita Devi in a debate on a news channel Hindu activists, along with an advocate filed cases against Writer and actor Kathi Mahesh.

"We demand his immediate arrest as all his comments were intentional," said the activists.

Apart from Saidabad, complaints were lodged against him at Vanasthalipuram, KPHB and Banjara Hills too.

# Advocate Statement:

~ We can see in his official Twitter handle where he wrote that no TV channel is inviting him for a debate and that he will soon create a controversy.

~ He had purposefully rang-up them and when they did not answer his call, he Tweeted asking them to lift his call. He is eager to create a controversy.

~ When the panelists questioned his statements, he showed no self-condemnation. We demand his immediate arrest and want PD Act to be the appeal to against him.

On interaction with the media, he said,"I have my rights to express what I want and will put forward my opinions as I have a right to freedom of speech."

"I am a rational human and in my opinion, Ravana was a better person. My comments were about Ramayana as a text and Ram as a character. There was no intention to hurt anyone. Now that they have pushed an allegation against me, the police will do the imperative," said Hrudaya Kaleyam actor.

However, Banjara Hills Police who have filed 4 cases over Kathi had arrested him this morning. After 4 hours of investigation, they gave notices and sent him.

~ The film critic Kathi Mahesh beyond criticising the cinema has gone habituated to criticise someone (or) something all the time.

~ Calling it as "Freedom of expression" he attacked Some kind of things which are intolerated.

~ When someone tries to oppose his views (or) condemn his opinion (or) criticise his intentional attitude, he will never accept it.

~ Last but not least, When you are criticising someone (or) Something you should be equally ready to accept when someone criticises you.
