Narendra Modi & Indira Gandhi compared!!

New Delhi, June 02: Attacking Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP for raking up the Emergency, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut on Sunday said "contribution" of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi for the country cannot be ignored just because of her 1975 decision.

While speaking with the media persons he said "If the day on which Indira Gandhi imposed the Emergency is to be considered a black day, then the country has seen many such black days in the last four years."

"The day on which demonetisation was announced was also a black day. This decision caused anarchy in the country. It deprived the poor of employment. The small traders were wiped out. And the black money of the rich was converted to white money."

He also added that, "If the day when the Emergency was proclaimed by (then PM) Indira Gandhi is to be called 'Black Day', then there were many such 'black days' under the Central government. The day demonetisation was announced should also be called 'Black Day', as it created the economic anarchy".
