Gang Rape: Woman suffered badly

Guntur, Jul 02: In a gruesome incident, A nurse was allegedly brutally gang-raped on Mangalagiri - Tenali road in Guntur district. The incident took place last Friday night and came to police attention on Sunday.

While coming to the details, The Victim woman was working with a private hospital, who was on the way to her home along with her boyfriend. She has been dating a young man named Joseph Tambi, who has been introduced by her friend.

The gang intercepted the victim by saying they are police when she was coming with her friend. They severely thrashed her boyfriend and took her to a secluded place. She was raped and left her in the morning.

Based on the complaint lodged by her parents, police launched a hunt to nab the accused. The victim was shifted to a hospital for treatment.
