Vijayawada, June 30: The Andhra Pradesh Minister for IT and Panchayat Raj Nara Lokesh demanded the opposition leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan to show their might before the Centre to get Special Category Status to the state.
He spoke at DalitaTejam meeting here on Saturday and alleged that Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan had taken a U-turn and failed to question the Union Government on poor allocations of funds to the state.
Nara Lokesh termed 'BJP' as 'Bharatiya Janata Party-Jaganmohan Reddy and Pawan Kalyan'. He said the BJP leaders and Janasena Chief were trying to create differences between regions in the state demanding declarations.
He said as soon as TDP withdrawn its support to the NDA, BJP leaders immediately announced Rayalaseema Declaration. He said even though the state was facing financial crunch with a deficit of Rs. 16,000 Cr they remembered welfare of Dalit population allocating huge budget for their development.
