India decides to cut down; influenced by US

Washington, June 28: It seems that India has been compromised in the pressure hit by US President Donald Trump. He warned that India should completely stop the Oil Production from Iran till November otherwise, India might be facing restrictions.

The Government sources reveal that the Petroleum Ministry is however already on a plan for preparing Oil companies for it. The Petroleum Ministry has convened a meeting with the owners of oil companies here today.

Oil companies were informed at this meeting that the biggest reduction in petrol products from Iran by the end of November (or) the complete discharge.

On one hand Union, Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj says they will not be afraid of America's unilateral sanctions. On the other hand, it is to be observed that the Petroleum Ministry seems to be strained to Trump's pressure.

After China, it is India which imports large quantities of petroleum products from Iran. Instead, India is now trying to find out the alternatives for the trade.

The US foreign Ministry asked to the end the trade deal with Iran. However, the US Ambassador Nicky Hayley to the United Nations has suggested to cut down the importing products.

Nicky Hayley who is currently residing at Delhi has made consultations with the US foreign Ministry prior the meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

It is already known that the US has come out of the nuclear deal with Iran in the recent times. After which the US has been seeking friendly countries to cut down their trade business with Iran.

"If not, the same restrictions will be imposed on you also," informed TRump from the US.
