After 2 years of Silence, Vijay Mallya decided

New Delhi, June 26: Liquor Baron Vijay Mallya expressed his disappointment that the banks are portraying him as a brand ambassador of bank loan deferment. He claimed that there was an unnecessary dispute happened.

He also stated that he had written letters to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on this plea on April 15, 2016. However, he didn't get any reply from them.

After a long wait, he had released the copy of letter through Twitter which was written to PM Modi.

In this context, Mallya said that some banks intentionally labelled him as an evader. The CBI and the EDs have filed charge sheet with the baseless allegations against him.

The value of his own companies, group companies and the companies under the control of his family will be the value of Rs. 13,900 crores. He said that he is ready for the settlement with banks.
