NTR & YSR: Guess the common point?

Hyderabad, June 23: Legendary actress Late Savitri's biopic 'Mahanati' starred Keerthy Suresh in the titular role as well as Samantha Akkineni, Vijay Devarakonda and Dulquer Salmaan in the lead roles.

We can say that the film had given an exact definition for the biopic and also set a benchmark for a biopic. It is also informed that the audience had very well received the film.

Now in Tollywood biopics mania is going on. After the 'Mahanati' biopic box office results, the makers had believed in making biopics and started to focus.

In consequence, Yesteryear actor NTR's biopic entitled as "NTR" in which the titular role will be played by his son Balakrishna in which National Award winner and Bollywood actress Vidya Balan will be seen playing NTR's wife Basavatarakam.

Coming to the details of late Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh - Y.S. Rajashekar Reddy's biopic is entitled as 'Yatra' in which Mollywood star Mammootty will be seen playing the titular role while 'Bahubali 2' fame Ashritha Vemuganti, Suhasini Maniratnam and Bhumika will be playing the other lead roles.

It can be expected that there might be few biopics which are yet to be finalized. However, there is a common line between these two biopics. Can you guess?

NTR, as well as YSR, had worked as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, earlier. Having known that it is a real-life story, we can expect the Political scenario in these two movies. But NTR is that person who is actor-turned-politician, so it may have some commercial elements.

Finally, their followers are very much curious about the biopic because they can watch their leader's political journey 'ON & OFF' screen all on Silver Screen.
