Drinking water to every household

Hyderabad December 16 : Drinking water to Wanaparthy by March, said Mission Bhagiratha Vice Chairman Vemula Prashant Reddy here on Thursday.

Speaking at a review meeting with officials of Wanaparty and Suryapet district on the flagship program of Mission Bhagiratha on Thursday, Vemula Prashant Reddy said the works should be expeditiously completed as per priority being offered by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

He has warned that, the serious action will be taken against dereliction on the part of the officials to complete the works.

ENC Surender Reddy, Chief engineers Kripakar Reddy, Vijaypal Reddy, OSD Satyapal Reddy and members of Agency attended the Review meeting.

He also opined that works at Suryapet are at low pace and laying of pipes should be taken up now as the farmers will not sow crops now.

Prashant Reddy said there are many tribal hamlets (Lambadi Thandas) in Suryapet district which should get drinking waters as per schedule.
