Hyderabad, June 23: Currently, biopics trend is moving on in Tollywood. Following one after the other, the biopics are getting started.

Late Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy's biopic shoot has already begun. Entitled 'Yatra' the film stars Mollywood Megastar Mammootty in the titular role.

Under the banner of 70mm Entertainments, the film is being jointly bankrolled by Vijay Chilla and Shashi DeviReddy.



Reportedly it is informed that veteran actress Suhasini Manirathnam will be playing the role of the former minister, Sabita Indra Reddy, whom Rajasekhar had considered as his sister.

Also, it is heard that 'Baahubali 2' fame Ashritha Vemuganti will be seen playing YSR's wife Vijayamma in the film.

And also Bhumika after playing a powerful role in MCA (Middle-class Abbayi) was the first choice to play YS Sharmila in the biopic.
