Vijay irks in Controversy

Chennai, June 22: On the occasion of Tamil Super Star Vijay Birthday, his upcoming film Sarkar's First look has been released. Within the fraction of seconds, the look getting impressive response from the fans.

Meanwhile, The First look irks in the controversy, he poster showed Vijay puffing out smoke from a cigarette, inviting criticism from former Union health minister and PMK leader Anbumani Ramadoss.

Anbumani Ramadoss took to Twitter to slam Vijay for allegedly promoting smoking through the poster. Stating that he would have looked more stylish without the cigarette, the former Health Minister tweeted "Shame on Actor Vijay for promoting Smoking in the first look of his next movie". He added the hashtags #ActResponsibly and #DoNotPromoteSmoking as well.

Anbumani Ramadoss also tweeted an old newspaper clipping which has Vijay stating that he will not smoke in his films, on the request of the former who was then the Health Minister.
